Come and discover the essence of Tarraco and the collection of a hundred-year-old museum, the National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona, in the Tinglado 4 centre in the city’s port. The museum presents this exhibition covering eight centuries of the history of Tarraco, the capital of Hispania Citerior, the largest province in the Empire, while the Archaeological Museum in the city’s Plaça del Rei is undergoing refurbishment.
The exhibition contains a selection from the Museum’s collection, with more than 200 pieces of all kinds: architecture, sculpture, painting, bronzes, mosaics, ceramics, jewellery… The free visit includes a free audio guide.
