Come to discover the charm of a Mediterranean town, where the culture, tradition, gastronomy and large range of its beaches combine with the modernist heritage. We suggest to discover the three buildings that (Mr.) Lluís Domènech i Montaner designed in the centre of the village : the “Ateneu Canetenc” (1885), the first building he built in Canet and which currently hosts the municipal library; the “Casa Roura” (1892), a house commissioned by his sister-in-law (Mrs.) Francesca Roura and it has nowadays become a restaurant; and the “Casa Domènech” (1920) which he built together with his son (Mr.) Pere Domènech i Roura and his son-in-law (Mr.) Francesc Guardia to spend summertime with their family. “Casa Domènech” and “Masia Rocosa” make up the Lluís Domènech i Montaner House-Museum which can be visited since 1990.
