The unique mountains in Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac Natural Park with their caves and grottoes were a safe haven in times gone by. This is revealed by the findings under study in Simanya Cave which have confirmed the existence of Palaeolithic settlements.
The route kicks off at Coll d’Estenalles with an introduction to Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac Natural Park and continues in the cave with a visit to the site to learn about the archaeological work underway together with the geological and natural setting of one of the largest caves in the Sant Llorenç massif.
Route taking 2 ½ hours.
Not suitable for people with mobility problems.
