This activity is great to move your muscles and savour the gastronomy and wines of the region at the same time. From January to March, we will be walking in the stunning landscape of Prades mountains, by old bridle paths. After walking up and down, we will deserve a full calçotada (Catalan grilled leaks dish) at the mountain restaurant Cor de Prades.
The rest of the year, we will move from the calçots to the wine, olive oil and culture, and we will walk around the Carthusian monastery up to the foothills of Montsant. We will savour an organic olive oil tasting, have lunch in a local restaurant and visit and taste amazing DOQ wines (a visit to the monastery optional). The starting point can be modified to any other itinerary near a winery.
