This high mountain stage combines dense forests, alpine meadows and endless views over Pallars Sobirà. The route leaves Espot and climbs up to Coll de la Creu d’Eixol, then follows the natural balcony that connects Espot with Llessui, one of the most spectacular stretches in the entire Pyrenees. Pastures, livestock and absolute silence before a long descent to Sort, the capital of Pallars Sobirà.
