Iron and Coal Route
The route links Ripoll with Sant Joan de les Abadesses. The entire route is paved and flanked by vegetation. The total vertical rise is 160 metres, and there is a gentle 1% incline. This section of the track starts at km 9, right in front of the old train station at Sant Joan de les Abadesses. Some 300 metres past the station, the track crosses the road to Ogassa and begins to rise gradually along the valley of the Malatosca, a tributary of the Ter River that rises from the Cavallera range. The track crosses a long-distance (GR) hiking trail some 500 metres from the station, and then crosses the highway again just beyond the GR trail. The route is placid and runs without problem to a point some 2 km before Sant Joan, at the Toralles loading station, where the coal from the mining railway of Ogassa was received. The section of greenway running from Toralles to Ogassa is an ascent section. Ogassa (975 m) is located 4 km from Sant Joan de les Abadesses and 13 km from Ripoll.

The keys to the churches of the Cerdanya region
Keys to the Churches of La Cerdanya is a project in collaboration with the Diocese of Urgell that aims to raise awareness of the most spectacular interiors of the churches in our region. We suggest two tours of four churches each, in the company of a guide specialised in Pyrenean heritage. On the Solana route, visit the churches of Santa Maria d’All (Isòvol), Santa Maria de Quadres (Isòvol), Santa Cecília de Bolvir, and Sant Climent de Talltorta (Bolvir); and on the Obaga route, the churches of Santa Maria de Talló (Bellver de Cerdanya), Sant Julià de Pedra (Bellver de Cerdanya), Sant Joan Baptista de Riu de Cerdanya, and Sant Pere d’Alp. We have drawn up a calendar of visits you can sign up for on this website.

Picasso Center in Gósol
In the spring of 1906, Pau Picasso went to Gósol with his companion, Fernande Olivier. The last part of the journey had to be done on a mule. He had a few things with him: some clothes, his easel and a few boxes full of brushes and oils.
When returning to Paris, in August of the same year, the couple brought a small caravan of mules, a clear sign that Picasso had painted a lot.
The most important thing, however, is that he had created some of the most significant works of modern art and the most moving of all time: figures of a rare intensity, sweetness in gently tangible girls at the same time immersed in a mysterious distance, boys wrapped in the mystery of timeless space, all together invaded by a color between ochre, flesh and salmon pink with touches of gray. They produced the effect of an arrogant and at the same time friendly silence, a strong sense of charm that emanated from the stony earth of that Pyrenean village, marked by centuries and by the classic and untranslatable beauty of simplicity.
The short stay in Gósol was not only decisive for Picasso's artistic research but also for the entire subsequent evolution of 20th century art. It represented the end of a stage of research and the awakening of a new era.

An urban wine and gastronomy route through Figueres
A wine and gastronomic tour of Figueres, capital of Empordà, a region known for its agricultural diversity and its mountain and sea cuisine (meat and seafood, respectively). In the 1970s, Empordà chefs Lluís Duran and Josep Mercader, influenced by French nouvelle cuisine techniques, introduced new ideas that shaped the contemporary Catalan cuisine we know today. Enjoy classic tapas derived from this gastronomic legacy, accompanied by Empordà wines. Choose from three different routes: set off from either El Motel or Celler de Ca la Teta, or opt for the Can Jeroni tour, which includes a visit to the fruit and vegetable market.

“Posa’t les botes”
We believe that the best way to publicize and highlight our work is to invite you to the farm for a morning. Technological advances have made many processes easier, but there are many others that are done in the traditional way as our grandparents and great-grandparents did. We love our work, our farm, our tractors, our tools, our cows, rabbits and calves, and we invite you to come and take care of them with us so that you can experience being a farmer for one day! The chicken coop, the fields, the farm, the milking parlor.... we have so much to do!

Visit to the prehistoric caves of Serinyà
The activity combines the dissemination of information and expertise that is made from the interpretive center through audiovisual media with a visit to the physical site. This park is one of the most important sites of Western Europe to see the passage of the Neanderthals to modern man. It is a unique landscape formed by several caves where they lived prehistoric hunter-gatherers. The most important caves are: Cave Grove, Mollet cave and the cave of the Reclau Viver. Currently they continue to conduct investigation and research.
