Visit to Can Calopw Winery – Olivera Cooperative and tasting
Yes, in Barcelona they still make wine and we want you to discover the last vineyards of the Catalan capital in Can Calopa. Immerse yourself in a traditional Catalan farmhouse, take a walk among its vineyards located in the center of Collserola, learn about Barcelona's wine-making tradition and learn about the social farming project from which unique and singular organic wines and oils are born. When you taste them, you will understand.
Born to Eat
We start our afternoon’s experience with aperitifs in a beautiful rustic bar. You’ll get to know your fellow travellers and guide as we share some of the intertwined history and culture of the areas, to set the scene for the rest of your tour. You’ll learn about the traditions of vermut, explore the little alleyways of El Born, hear about the politics in Catalunya; from the medieval past to the civil war and how all these have influenced the eating culture here today.
Over the next few hours we visit three more tapas food stops, indulging in dishes from different parts of Spain and savoring the drinks that are paired with them. You’ll get to enjoy ‘la hora del vermut’, take part in the culture of pintxos and savor delicious gourmet Spanish & Catalan tapas. Our final stop is a charming wine bodega, where we indulge in the art of wine tasting. Catalunya has no less than 11 D.O.’s and you will get to try and taste at least 4 different types of Spanish wine and cava. And don’t worry whether you are a wine beginner or enthusiast, your host will guide you through the tasting to gain an appreciation of the amazing wines produced here in Spain.
This is an experience to get to know the feel of our barrio of El Born; an afternoon with locals going where they go – learning, laughing, eating and drinking.
Paella Experience
The story of The Paella Club is the story of determination, passion, cultural heritage, community, and of course, love for food. We are a dream that started in Barcelona (hence the name), but more than a culinary school we are a place where people from all ages and background can come together in their share love of Global cuisine.

Experience Gaudí by creating your own Gaudí-style mosaic souvenir
Creating mosaics like Gaudi:
As the founder I was motivated to create an authentic experience for visitors who are inspired by the mosaic art, the Trencadís of Antonio Gaudí. I offer them the opportunity to learn this mosaic technique "El Trencadís", and create their own souvenir of Barcelona and also appreciate the work involved in creating his famous masterpieces. The other motivation was to offer activities for families and groups, something that was difficult to find, especially for children. This inspired me to create a fun and creative experience for the whole family (parents and children > 3 years old) that can be enjoyed together as well as for couples, friends, groups or companies.
You will learn the basics of the technique in 2 hours, learn how to handle the tools, choose your design and make your first trencadís - mosaic masterpiece: a coaster, placemat, photo frame, elephant, cat, heart or other object. The "Gaudi Experience" will be an unforgettable, special, and unique souvenir of Gaudi's Barcelona.
