An urban route to discover the medieval origins of Vilafranca del Penedès. The route takes in the main buildings of the period, including the church of Santa Maria, the Palau Reial, the chapel of Sant Pelegrí, the town hall, the chapel of Sant Joan, and the Convent of Sant Francesc. These buildings offer us a window onto the culture, traditions, political life, food, death, art and everything to do with life between the 12th and 15th centuries. At the end of the tour, you are invited to climb the bell tower of the 14th-century church of Santa María for a magnificent view of the town and its surroundings.
