Visit the interior of the Tavascan Hydroelectric Power Plant and enter into its underground galleries hidden in the depths of the mountain. The visit consists of two parts. Initially, the Water Interpretation Center is visited, where the visitor gets in touch with the history of the infrastructure as well as its operation. This is achieved through an exhibition and an audiovisual. Afterwards, the guided tour continues inside the power plant. The tour shows different parts of the plant and how it works, thanks to the explanations offered to the visitor. A guide accompanies the entire visit. The work involved thousands of people and revolutionized the territory where it is located in the 1960s. The construction process was colossal and left us with a unique and pioneering infrastructure, which includes one of the highest water falls in Europe and a reversible hydroelectric power plant.
