The experience includes:
– Jeep guide to the hives.
– Visit the hives, with beekeeper suits.
– Honey tasting and other local products.
The visit will be made directly by Xavier Ferro, beekeeper and biologist. During the visit you will have direct contact with bees, and learn how the hive works, the life cycle of the bee and its function in nature. You will observe the breeding nest and you will know the peculiarities of the territory in terms of fauna and flora and the role that bees play in the ecosystem.
Finally, you will taste the honey, and other local products. During this tasting you will enjoy the flavour of the different seasons of the year in Montsec through our honey, as well as discovering other local products such as cheese, “sobrassada”, almonds, fruits and other seasonal products.
