Literary route (L’Ombra del vent)
You can read any book, but just with few, it’s possible to live and breathe them. We present this walking tour as a unique opportunity to wander around the amazing Barcelona depicted in “The Shadow of the Wind”, a novel that has captivated thousands of readers all around the world. From letters to words, from imagination to reality. Just as Daniel Sempere, Julian Carax, Fermín Romero de Torres, and the other characters of the the novel, we will walk through a labyrinth of mysteries and surprises turned into a charming tour, with a bewitching Barcelona as the backdrop.
The participants of the tour will become the characters, as you move around Barcelona to places that are still recognizable to today’s inhabitants, such as Santa Anna street, The arch of the Theatre, King’s square, Las Ramblas, Sant Felip Neri square and Montcada street. Not often do we have the possibility to turn fiction into reality but this is one such chance.

Mercantic. The Sant Cugat Vintage Village
Mercantic is a small vintage village of second-hand dealers, antique dealers, artisans and artists where different things happen every day. It is a point of reference in Europe for lovers of collecting and decoration. Mercantic hosts about a hundred merchants grouped in an area of about 15,000 m2, distributed between the well-known Nau Central and the area of Les Casetes, all made of wood in different colors . In the El Siglo room, live music concerts are held on Saturdays and Sundays. And in the bookshop of the same name, more than 100,000 volumes are on display and is the largest used bookshop in the State. La Puntual is an artistic center for young talents who exhibit their works and hold creative workshops. Mercantic offers different gastronomic spaces and for events.

The Medieval Villages Route is one which takes you to two of the most emblematic and best preserved villages in the Baix Empordà: Peratallada and Pals. Along the way, you'll pedal through pine forests and fields of a variety of crops. With the tablet-GPS you can follow the route and listen to the audios that tell you stories of the points of interest through which you pass.
Route to Les Torretes, accompanied by the sea
An easy circular walking trail, covering 8.4 km and with altitude differences of +311 -311 metres. It is not accessible for disabled people, as much of the path runs through mountainous terrain. It leaves from Plaça de l'Estació and goes through the north of the town to the outlying areas between forest paths and vegetation, with wonderful panoramic views of the beaches of Sant Pol and the Maresme coast, passing Calella lighthouse to Les Torretes (the ruins of two optical telegraph towers). On the way back, the path passes through the natural landscape, arriving at Morer beach, followed by a walk through Sant Pol by the sea (along Avenida Dr. Furest) with its beaches, boats stranded on the sand and white houses on the seafront. The route ends where it began, at Plaça de l'Estació.
